Reason for running: “Felt representation was lacking in the eastern part of the state, and wanted to become a voice for those who are based there.”
Eddie grew up riding horses, and became very interested in harness racing while attending the University of Kentucky and visiting The Red Mile in the late eighties. Eddie first broke into the standardbred business as an owner in 1998, and has since owned over 150 horses that have raced primarily in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Canada. He became a licensed trainer in 2009, and has since performed the training duties for his horses the last two seasons at Thunder Ridge.
