Reason for running: “My father was one of the original KHHA board members, and I felt I could provide a strong voice for the horsemen, particularly those in the western part of the state. I want to keep the industry alive in the state”
Randy was introduced to the business at a very young age, growing up around the track as his dad raced horses. He trains from home on a track his dad built in 1970, and primarily races on the Kentucky fair and pari-mutuel circuits where he has campaigned many successful horses over the years.
