K.H.H.A. provides membership opportunities to all horsemen at an annual cost of $25.00. Annual membership becomes due March 1st of each calendar year.

K.H.H.A. Membership Benefits include the following:

Race Bike Coverage up to $500.00 provided TRAINER AND OWNER(S) In the program are current members. RACE BIKE COVERAGE UP TO $1000 IF THE OWNER(S), TRAINER, AND DRIVER ARE ALL CURRENT MEMBERS. COVERAGE APPLIES TO PRE RACE WARM UP ON THE TRACK OR DURING THE ACTUAL RACE.
ProvideS 3rd party liability insurance that provides coverage against damages that your horse may cause to some other person or person's property (must occur at a race track, county fair track, or approved training center WHICH MUST BE LISTED ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP).
Provides representation at the Kentucky Racing Authority, at national insurance conferences, as well as USTA District meetings and county fair meetings.
Provides the only lobbyist representing Harness Horsemen's interest at the KY. State Legislature.
The only source to provide information on county fair racing in Kentucky.
Negotiate all contracts for Horsemen at Kentucky Race Tracks.
Host an annual banquet to recognize horsemen's accomplishments.

WHAT HAS K.H.H.A. DONE FOR ME LATELY:
MAINTAIINS THE ONLY PROGRAM OF ITS KIND IN THE RED MILE OWNERS BONUS.
MAINTAINS AND PAYS THE PURSES AT THUNDER RIDGE.
2005 PAID $3500 TOWARD ELECTRICAL UPDATE FOR CAMPERS AT RED MILE.
HAS PAID OUT OVER $25,000 IN RECENT YEARS FOR RACE BIKECLAIMS.
paid stall rent for horsemen at carson park awaiting bluegrass downs to open.
assisted families finanically of two horsemen who passed away in 2005.
